Speaker/ Conférencière: Lori G. Beaman (University of Ottawa/Université d'Ottawa)
Lori G. Beaman is Canada Research Chair in the Contextualization of Religion in a Diverse Canada and a professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies of the University of Ottawa. She has authored numerous publications, including Defining Harm: Religious Freedom and the Limits of the Law (UBC Press, 2008). She is currently director of the Religion and Diversity Project, which brings together an international team of 37 researchers.
